Monopoly Legal Assessment is a form of legal analysis on the activities, contracts and business conducts of a company. By way of Monopoly Legal Assessment (MLA), NHP examines business contracts and exercise verification over the factual operation or conduct of a company.

Whereas the Monopoly Legal Assessment (MLA) is conducted with the following aims: (i) to ensure that the contracts that the company enters into with any other party does not belong to the category which is prohibited under the laws; (ii) to ensure that business activities of the company do not fall under the category which is prohibited under the laws as such business activities may constitute monopoly and unfair business practice; (iii) to give proper recommendation to solve any legal problems arising out of the business activities of the company; (iv) to give recommendation with the purpose of establishing the basis for legal argumentation against any pressures from other parties or groups including the KPPU [the supervisory commission over business conducts].
